Ilham Aliyev visited the statue of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev in Tovuz

As part of a visit to the north-western region of Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev has arrived in Tovuz District.

The head of state visited the statue of nationwide leader in the Heydar Aliyev Park in Tovuz and laid flowers at it.

The head of the Tovuz District Executive Authority, Tofig Zeynalov, said the Heydar Aliyev Culture and Recreation Park was a favorite place of recreation for visitors and local residents.

Then the President reviewed the stands describing the construction and landscaping work under way in the district, the map of Tovuz, a draft of the Tovuz-Govlar-Agbashlar motor road and other facilities under construction.
