Ilham Aliyev received the credentials of the newly-appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan

President Ilham Aliyev received the credentials of newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Azerbaijan, Alexander Mishenko.

Ambassador Alexander Mishenko passed along the guard of honor.

Alexander Mishenko presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.

Then, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a conversation with the Ambassador.

President Ilham Aliyev noted that strong ties existed between Presidents of Azerbaijan and Ukraine and expressed content with successful development of bilateral relations in various fields. President Ilham Aliyev said great opportunities existed for further development of relations of friendship and partnership between the two countries.

Having recalled his latest visit to Kyiv, President Ilham Aliyev also talked about the importance of presidential level mutual visits. Noting that the Azerbaijani people had sincere feelings for Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, the President also expressed assurance in further development of relations and wished success to the Ambassador.

Newly appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan, Alexander Mishenko, said he had already established close relations with his Azerbaijani colleagues. He said he would spare no efforts for further development of bilateral ties.
