President Ilham Aliyev participated at the opening of Horadiz Sport Compound

In the framework of visit to the Fizuli region, President Ilham Aliyev participated at the opening ceremony of Horadiz Sport Compound.

President Ilham Aliyev cut the ribbon signaling the opening and studied the conditions created at the compound.

The photo stand composed of photos dedicated to the care and attention paid to the development of sport and sportsmen by great leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev was organized at the ground floor.

It was reported that started in February 2009, the Sport Compound covers the area of 5 hectares. There are the hotel for 30 rooms, basketball playing site, hand games hall for 500 seats, tennis playing area and car parking. It disposes also locker rooms, shower rooms, sauna and massage rooms, medical point, buffet, administrative and other rooms. There are water storage facility, water tank mast, power substation in the territory of Compound.
President Ilham Aliyev met with Fizuli region public representatives and congratulated them.
Afterwards, head of state and his spouse watched concert program by our artists and performances by sportsmen.

President Ilham Aliyev studied also the football site for 1860 seats. Refurbishment work was carried out in this area. Greening lines are created near the Compound.
