President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received the President of Statoil, Helge Lund.

Statoil President Helge Lund congratulated the state held on his victory in the 9 October presidential election.

The sides noted that there is a long-term fruitful cooperation between Statoil and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan and exchanged views on matters relating to the prospects of this cooperation.
