President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has arrived in Sumgayit.

The President visited the statue of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev in the center of the city and placed flowers at it.

The head of the Sumgayit City Executive Authority, Eldar Azizov, informed President Ilham Aliyev about the creative and landscaping work carried out in Sumgayit in recent times. It was noted that the area around the statue had been significantly improved, expanded and landscaped.
