President Ilham Aliyev received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Polan to Azerbaijan, Michal Labenda.
The Ambassador passed along the guard of honor.
Michal Labenda presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.
Then, President of Azerbaijan conversed with the Ambassador.
Highlighting that friendly relations exist between the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Azerbaijan, Michal Labenda also noted that during his talks with President Bronisław Komorowski, the President had emphasized that the friendly ties of Polish government with Azerbaijan would continue. Having underlined the successful development of relations between the two countries in all spheres, the Ambassador expressed confidence in further strengthening of high-level bilateral relations.
The Ambassador said the development processes ongoing in the city had created a huge impression on him during his brief familiarization with the capital.
The President expressed satisfaction with the level of development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Poland.
Noting the high-level relations, implementation of various joint initiatives, and important steps taken to bring the two countries together, President Ilham Ailyev expressed his hope for further enhancement of relations.
