President Ilham Aliyev viewed removal and reconstruction works to be carried out in Baku trade port.
During the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, dedicated to the outcomes of the socio-economic development in the first nine months of the 2010, chaired by President Ilham Aliyev, the President mentioned that the Baku trade port would be removed and its area would be completely overhauled. President Ilham Aliyev noted that a new international trade port would be built in Alat and leisure spots were being planned to be built in the area of the previous trade port. The Baku Boulevard will be extended from both ends. The President gave instructions for the acceleration of these measures during the meeting
The implementation of President Ilham Aliyev’s instructions regarding the removal of a part of the Baku trade port and the renovation works to be carried out had already started.
President Ilham Aliyev was briefed on the works to be carried out in the area.
It was noted that as per the instructions of the President, this port would be transferred to a new area. Within the framework of reconstruction works, every condition will be created in the area for full rest of the residents of the capital and the guests of the country. Just like in other parts of Baku, a new park, conforming to modern standards, will be built in the area of the new trade port. Construction works have already started.
President Ilham Aliyev viewed the preparatory works and gave instructions and suggestions.
