Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the "Zaka" Intellectual Youth Centre in Shamkir

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the "Zaka" Intellectual Youth Centre in Shamkir.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the center.
It was noted that the construction of the center began in May of last year and was completed a year later.
Built next to the Flag Square, the Center has an original design. The total floor area of the two-storey building is 3,355 square meters. In the lobby of the Intellectual Youth Centre there is a bust of great leader Heydar Aliyev. There are also photo stands dedicated to the visits of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev to Shamkir District and their meetings with young people in various regions of the country.
President Ilham Aliyev also examined the film studio of the "Zaka" Intellectual Youth Centre.
It was brought to the President’s attention that the studio, equipped with modern studio facilities and a lighting system, will provide resources for broadcast media. Young people can benefit from online TV and radio broadcasts, prepare intellectual programs of a new format and implement media projects here.
The President also reviewed the center’s library with a collection of 3,000 books.
It was noted that in order to create conditions for the intellectual development of young people and support their creative work, the center operates functional rooms of various profiles. There are all the necessary conditions for young people to improve their knowledge and skills. The center will play a positive role in effective organization of young people’s leisure in Shamkir.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed his satisfaction with the work done at the center and gave relevant instructions and recommendations.
