Within the framework of his visit to Yevlakh, President Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of “Azertokhum” LLC seed-growing company.

The company staff greeted the President and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva warmly.

While touring the facility, President Ilham Aliyev was informed that 7 hectares of land had been allocated for construction of “Azertokhum” LLC seed-growing company. The facility, construction of which had started in June of 2009, consists of 12 warehouses with a capacity of 1000, 1500 and 2000 tons, a seed laboratory, a repair shop, a gas station, and houses. 80 people have been employed full-time at the facility.

The President pressed the button starting the work of the facility and viewed the production process and the exhibition of produced goods.
