President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Turkey, Hesen Erbil.

Prosecutor General Hesen Erbil conveyed greetings on behalf of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

During the meeting, the sides stressed that the friendly and fraternal relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan were developing successfully in all areas, including the area of law- enforcement and highlighted the importance of reciprocal visits at various levels to a further strengthening of the ties between the two countries. The Prosecutor General of the Republic of Turkey said that his visit to Azerbaijan provided a good opportunity for the discussion of issues related to the expansion of cooperation between relevant agencies of the two countries.

The head of state expressed his gratitude for the greetings from Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and asked the Prosecutor General to convey his greetings to the Prime Minister.
