President Ilham Aliyev has received the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs of Morocco, Ahmed Toufiq.

The President stressed that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Morocco were at a high level. Noting that the level of political relations was satisfactory, President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of mutual support between the two countries in international organizations. Speaking about the importance of reciprocal visits for the development of ties, the President expressed his hope that the visit of the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs of the Kingdom of Morocco, Ahmed Toufiq, to Azerbaijan would be fruitful.

The guest conveyed greetings on behalf of the King of Morocco Mohammed VI.

The sides exchanged views on the development of relations between the two countries in the economic, tourist, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.

The head of state expressed his gratitude for the greetings from King Mohammed VI of Morocco and asked the minister to convey his greetings to the King of Morocco.
