President Ilham Aliyev has received the former President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Georgi Parvanov.

The meeting highlighted the high level of organization and importance of the Second World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue.

Participation of senior representatives from various regions of the world, including those from Balkan countries, was regarded as an indicator of international interest in the forum.

During the meeting the sides expressed their satisfaction with development of bilateral relations between the two countries and noted the significance of the role of Azerbaijan and Bulgaria in promoting regional cooperation.
