President Ilham Aliyev has received UNESCO Director General Irina Bokova.

During the meeting the sides said that cooperation between Azerbaijan and UNESCO was developing successfully and expressed their confidence that these relations would continue in the coming years.

The meeting also noted the high level of organization of the Second World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue and highlighted the importance of international action to strengthen intercultural relations and expand cooperation between countries in the humanitarian field.

The sides exchanged views on issues relating to the prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and UNESCO.
