President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received US Senator Richard Lugar.

The sides expressed their satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and the United States in various areas, noted the high level of organization of the Azerbaijani-American Forum "Vision for the future" being held in Baku and stressed the importance of the forum for a further strengthening of the ties between the two countries.
