President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by Prime Minister of Macedonia Nikola Gruevski.

The President expressed his hope that the visit of Prime Minister of Macedonia Nikola Gruevski to Azerbaijan would be successful and create a good opportunity for the discussion of the development of bilateral relations.

Prime Minister of Macedonia Nikola Gruevski pointed to a good level of political relations between the two countries. The Prime Minister said that, along with political contacts, his country was interested in expanding cooperation with Azerbaijan in economic and other spheres.

The sides stressed the importance of the planned signing of a document on cooperation between the two countries in various fields and exchanged views on issues related to the expansion of ties in the fields of energy, tourism, investment, etc.
