Ilham Aliyev accepted the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of Macedonia to Azerbaijan

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has accepted the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Macedonia to Azerbaijan, Goran Taskovski.
Ambassador Goran Taskovski reviewed the guard of honor.
Goran Taskovski presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.
Then the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan had a discussion with the Ambassador.
Ambassador Goran Taskovski conveyed greetings on behalf of President of Macedonia George Ivanov. Stressing that he had witnessed rapid economic development in Azerbaijan, the Ambassador said that his country had also made good economic performance. He pointed to the need for reciprocal visits of business people for the expansion of ties in the economic sphere.
Recalling with satisfaction his meeting with Macedonian President George Ivanov, the President of Azerbaijan said that bilateral relations between the two countries were at a good level. Noting the value of expanding economic cooperation, President Ilham Aliyev stressed the importance of mutual investment, trade, the implementation of joint projects and
identification of opportunities in other areas.
The head of state expressed his gratitude for the greetings from President George Ivanov and asked the diplomat to communicate his greetings to the head of the Macedonian state.
