President Ilham Aliyev has received Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevičius.

The meeting emphasized the importance of the fact that the World Economic Forum is being held in Baku, expressed their satisfaction with the successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Lithuania and pointed to the importance of reciprocal visits for the strengthening of these relations.

The parties also noted that the turnover between the two countries has been growing rapidly in recent years and exchanged views on enhancing cooperation in the field of investment, energy and other areas.
