President Ilham Aliyev has received the President of the International Military Sports Council and of the National Olympic and Sports Committee of Cameroon, Hamad Kalkaba Malboum.
Hamad Kalkaba Malboum said that the process of rapid development ongoing in the country under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev had made a deep impression on him. Stressing the importance of the upcoming championship of the International Military Sports Council due to be held in Baku, Hamad Kalkaba Malboum noted that the competition would be joined by national military teams from 16 countries and a total of 100 people. He communicated to the President of Azerbaijan the suggestion of the International Military Sports Council to hold the next summer military games in Azerbaijan in 2019.
The head of state expressed his hope that the championship due to be held in Baku would be organized at a high level. President Ilham Aliyev said that our country was continuing to do consistent work to create modern sports infrastructure for hosting prestigious international sporting events.
The sides exchanged views on a further expansion of cooperation between the International Military Sports Council and relevant bodies of Azerbaijan.
