President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received World Regional Director for the South Caucasus Henry Kerali.

After congratulating the head of state on the launch into orbit of Azerbaijan’s first artificial satellite, World Bank Regional Director for the South Caucasus Henry Kerali said that it was a great event for the country. Henry Kerali also praised the launch of the “ASAN xidmət” centers of the State Agency for public services and social innovation in the country.

The President noted that the country has consistently implemented work in the area of information and communication technologies and provided citizens with exemplary social services.

The sides also stressed the importance of the projects being implemented in the country in conjunction with the World Bank, particularly in the regions, and exchanged views on prospects for cooperation.
