President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva have arrived in the city of Sumgayit.

The head of state and his wife visited the statue of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev in the center of Sumgayit and laid flowers at it.

The head of the Executive Authority of the citty Eldar Azizov informed the President on the works carried out for the  socioeconomic development of Sumgayit, one of the most important industrial centers of the country.
