President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Heydar Aliyev Park in Horadiz.
The head of the Fuzuli Executive Authority Ali Aliyev informed the President about the construction work in the facility. The park is located at the Heydar Aliyev Avenue. The construction of the park named after ever-living leader started in June 2011 and ended September 2012. The park occupies a total area of 3,5 hectares. A monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev was erected here.
The Heydar Aliyev Park has a green area, a fountain, a cafe, a modern lighting system, benches, ornamental trees and flowering bushes from foreign countries. A flag was installed in the park with a flagpole of 50 meters. An octagonal fountain was constructed in the recreation center. A modern-designed internet-café will be functioning in the park bringing a special beauty to the city. All the conditions have been created in the internet-café equipped with computers for the recreation of the youth. Lots of benches, modern lightning system have been installed in the park; the facades and roofs of the surrounding buildings have been well overhauled.
The head of state praised the work done, gave instructions and recommendations.
