Ilham Aliyev received credentials of incoming Paraguayan ambassador to Azerbaijan

On February 13, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, received the credentials of Ceferino Valdez Peralta, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Paraguay.
Following the formal presentation of credentials, President Aliyev engaged in a discussion with Ambassador Valdez Peralta. The ambassador conveyed the warm greetings of Santiago Peña, President of the Republic of Paraguay, to the Azerbaijani leader.
Expressing his gratitude for the message, President Aliyev asked the ambassador to extend his own regards to President Peña.
During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening interparliamentary, cultural, and humanitarian ties between Azerbaijan and Paraguay. It was announced that a Paraguayan parliamentary friendship group with Azerbaijan would soon visit the country, further enhancing diplomatic relations.
Discussions also explored opportunities for cooperation in agriculture and livestock, with Paraguay recognizing Azerbaijan’s strategic role as a logistics hub to facilitate increased exports to regional markets.
