President Ilham Aliyev has received the Head of the Polish presidential administration Jacek Mikhailovsky, and Foreign Ministers Nikolay Mladenov of Bulgaria and Carl Bildt of Sweden.

During the meeting the sides discussed the development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union, as well as the countries represented by the delegations. The delegation members noted that the EU, Bulgaria and Sweden were interested in expansion of cooperation with Azerbaijan.

The sides also stressed the importance of strengthening of the Azerbaijan-EU relations not only in energy sector, but also in other fields of economy, including investment making. The also exchanged views on the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
