President Ilham Aliyev received President of Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers Fadi Chehadé.

The head of state stressed the importance of the participation of President of Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers at the7th Meeting of the Internet Governance Forum. President Ilham Aliyev appreciated the organization of the Forum in Baku as a good indicator of the achievements gained by the country in this area. The head of state emphasized the special attention paid to the functioning of free internet in the country.

President of Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers Fadi Chehadé highly appreciated the success gained by Azerbaijan in the field of information and communication technologies. He stressed the importance of the creation of 14th regional server of the system in the country for the management of addresses. The guest highly appreciated the functioning of this server launched 14th after 10 servers in USA and 3 in Europe; he also expressed his confidence in its contribution to the improvement of the internet quality in the region.
