President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the chairman of the Standing Committee on poverty reduction, planning and social development of the Chamber of Deputies of Chile, the head of the Chile-Azerbaijan friendship group, Enrique Accorsi.

The President noted the importance of the participation of a delegation led by the chairman of the committee of the Chamber of Deputies of Chile, the head of the Azerbaijan-Chile friendship group, Enrique Accorsi, at the Baku International Humanitarian Forum.

Underscoring the importance of the visit in terms of the development of bilateral relations, President Aliyev said there was a great potential for expanding the ties. The head of state stressed the role of the inter-parliamentary cooperation in the development of bilateral relations.

Enrique Accorsi expressed his satisfaction with the fact that the delegation visiting Azerbaijan represented all political parties of Chile. Stressing that President Aliyev’s speech at the Baku International Humanitarian Forum was met with great interest, the guest noted the value of the forum for the protection of peace and mutual understanding in the world.
