Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan visited the Turkish soldiers memorial in Shaki

President Ilham Aliyev and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who is paying a working visit to our country, have arrived in the city of Shaki.
President Ilham Aliyev, his wife Mehriban Aliyeva, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife Emine Erdogan have visited the Turkish soldiers memorial in Shaki in the Orta Zayzid village of Shaki District.
The President of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of the brotherly country reviewed the stand describing the routes of action of the Caucasian Islamic Army in Azerbaijan and Dagestan in 1918, and the place where Turkish martyrs are buried in our country.
It was noted that this memorial was erected in honor of the fallen soldiers of the Turkish army who arrived in Azerbaijan in the early 20th century to liberate our people from Armenian-Bolshevik invaders. The area around the monument has been landscaped and the gravestone memorial established in 2002.
President Ilham Aliyev and his wife, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife laid a wreath at the monument.
