Dear Mr President,

Just like everybody else, we were also happy with the news of the extradition of our army officer and our people’s honourable son, Ramil Safarov, from Hungary to Azerbaijan. The fact that you pardoned him increased our joy even more. This is one of the greatest things you have done for the spirit of thousands of our martyrs killed in the fight for Karabakh.

We hope that as a result of the policy which was founded by the great leader Heydar Aliyev and which you are successfully continuing today, our Karabakh land will be liberated from the enemy. The whole Azerbaijani people saw this in the case of Ramil Safarov and witnessed once again how much the president loves his people and nation. Joining all those happy people, we wish you a long life, strong health and success in your work. May Almighty God help you!
