A meeting has been held between the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in Ashgabat.

The sides hailed the political relations between the two countries. They exchanged views on the expansion of economic and trade relations and reviewed transportation opportunities and further strengthening of bilateral cooperation within international organizations.
