President Ilham Aliyev has accepted the credentials of the newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Azerbaijan, Vinod Kumar.
The Ambassador reviewed the guard of honor.
Vinod Kumar presented his credentials to President Ilham Aliyev.
Then President Ilham Aliyev had a discussion with the Ambassador.
Noting that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and India are at a good level, the President expressed his confidence that these ties would flourish during the diplomatic mission of Ambassador Vinod Kumar in Azerbaijan. President Aliyev stressed the importance of reciprocal visits to the expansion of relations. Pointing to a mutual economic interest, the President said there were good opportunities to expand ties in political, economic, tourist and cultural spheres.
The newly-appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Azerbaijan, Vinod Kumar, expressed his satisfaction with the start of his diplomatic mission in our country. The Ambassador stressed the importance of the joint intergovernmental commission for the expansion of bilateral relations. Vinod Kumar said his country was interested in developing cooperation with Azerbaijan.
