President Ilham Aliyev has reviewed the Heydar Aliyev park in the Badamdar settlement of Baku after major overhaul and reconstruction.
The head of the Sabayil district executive authority, Asif Asgarov, informed the President about the work under way in the settlement.
We recall that when President Ilham Aliyev visited Badamdar to monitor the work under way on the socioeconomic development of Baku and its suburban settlements, local residents asked the head of state for major reconstruction of the local Heydar Aliyev park. President Ilham Aliyev gave instructions on renovation of the park. In accordance with the President’s instructions, a special project on major overhaul and reconstruction of the park was prepared and the work began.
The park covering an area of almost one hectare has been restored and reconstructed in a short time. A modern leisure center has been set up here. Stone slabs have been laid on an area of about 7,000 square meters and a new lighting system meeting the latest standards installed. Extensive greening work has been carried out at the recreation center, a variety of ornamental shrubs planted and 4,000 square meters of lawn laid. In the center of the park, in front of the map of Azerbaijan, there is a bust of Azerbaijan’s nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev. There is also a modern fountain with a lighting system here. There is an area for kids and all the necessary conditions for various events and recreation activities.
The area around the park has also been landscaped and streets paved.
After reviewing the work done, the President gave relevant instructions.
