On January 16, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev made a phone call to President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
During the phone conversation, two Presidents emphasized once again the successful development of friendly and brotherly relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey in all areas and the ever-expanding bilateral cooperation.
President Ilham Aliyev informed the Turkish President of the start of restoration and reconstruction work in the liberated territories and welcomed the Turkish companies' active involvement in this work, noting that it contributed to further strengthening of relations between the two countries.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan thanked the head of state for the information and praised the Turkish companies' participation in the restoration and reconstruction work across Azerbaijan's liberated lands.
The heads of state spoke about the launch of the Turkey-Russia Joint Monitoring Center in Aghdam soon, noting that the Center's operation will contribute to ensuring lasting peace.
The Turkish President underscored that his country would continue to support Azerbaijan.
The head of state thanked the Turkish President for that.
