In order to ensure the implementation of the 959th Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on “Organization of the 135th anniversary ceremony of the Azerbaijani National Press” dated June 10, 2010; to finance the events related to the anniversary, as well as provide direct financial assistance to a number of mass media outlets of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby order as follows:

1. In order to organize events on the 135th anniversary of the Azerbaijani National Press and provide direct financial assistance to a number of mass media outlets of the Republic of Azerbaijan, funds in the amount of 1.0 million AZN should be allocated from the Reserve Fund of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as intended in the 2010 FY budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan: 

2. The funds, determined by the first clause of this order, should be allocated as such: 

2.1. Direct financial assistance in the amount of 280.0 thousand AZN should be allocated to the State Fund for the Support of Mass Media Development under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for organization of series of events on the 135th anniversary of the Azerbaijani National Press.

2.2. Direct financial assistance in the amount of 20.0 thousand AZN should be allocated to each one of the below-mentioned 32 newspaper agencies:

“Azadliq” newspaper
“Azerbaycan” newspaper
“Azerbaydjanskiye izvestiya” newspaper

“Echo” newspaper
“Ekspress” newspaper
“Adalat” newspaper
“Hafta ici” newspaper
“Khalg cebhesi” newspaper
“Khalg gezeti” newspaper
“Iki sahil” newspaper
“Kaspi” newspaper
“Kaspiy” newspaper
“Merkez” newspaper
“Movge” newspaper
“Novoyoe vremya” newspaper
“Olaylar” newspaper
“Palitra” newspaper
“Paritet” newspaper
“Parallel” newspaper

2.3. Direct financial assistance in the amount of 10.0 thousand AZN should be allocated to each one of the below-mentioned 8 information agencies:

- ASSA-IRADA Information Agency

- “Azadinform” Information Agency

- Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency (Azertag)

- “Azeri-Press” Information Agency (APA)

- “Olaylar” Information Agency

- “Ses” Information Agency

- “Trend” Information Agency

- “Turan” Information Agency

3. Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan is responsible for transfer of financial assistances, determined by the second clause of this Order, to the State Fund for the Support of Mass Media Development under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and newspaper and information agencies.
