President Ilham Aliyev received UNCTAD Secretary General Supachai Panitchpakdi.

Supachai Panitchpakdi thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the conditions created for the 19th regional courses on Europe and the CIS, organized by the UNCTAD and Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy in Baku. He praised cooperation between Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy and UNCTAD. The guest also congratulated President Ilham Aliyev for the achievements, which allowed Azerbaijan to become the region`s leader at a time when importance of the region was on the rise.

President Ilham Aliyev noted the importance of organizing the XIX regional courses on Europe and the CIS in Baku. The President expressed hope that the event would host interesting discussions and yield fruitful results.
