President Ilham Aliyev has received the former president of Lithuania, the former chairman of the Lithuanian Seimas, a member of the European Parliament Vytautas Landsbergis.

During the meeting the sides expressed their satisfaction with the fact that Vytautas Landsbergis supported Azerbaijan’s fair cause at the time of its accession to the Council of Europe. It was stressed that Azerbaijan had undergone profound change in all areas in the years of independence.

The sides also exchanged views on cooperation between Azerbaijan and European Parliament.
