Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the Gazakhbayli-Ashagi Salahli motor road

As part of a visit to Gazakh District, President Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the Gazakhbayli-Ashagi Salahli motor road.
First, the head of state met with construction workers and congratulated some of them who have been awarded under a presidential order signed on 10 April.
Then the President was shown drawings reflecting the reconstruction of roads in Gazakh District.
Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov informed President Aliyev that the renovated Gazakhbayli-Ashagi Salahli motor road links three villages with a total population of about 5,000 people.
The road had not been repaired for years and become unusable. Renovated over a short time, it will significantly facilitate the movements of the population.
It was mentioned that the Yukhari Salahli-Kamarli motor road, being renovated at the instruction of the head of state, will be used by some 13,000 residents of four villages. Most of the work has already been completed.
Then President Ilham Aliyev was familiarized with a project on the reconstruction of the Agstafa-Poylu-State Border with Georgia motor road. It was noted that the 53-km road is built in line with the latest standards. The crossover located on the road is being refurbished and two new bridges built.
The head of state cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the Gazakhbayli-Ashagi Salahli motor road.
The President of Azerbaijan met with local residents and congratulated them on the commissioning of the renovated road.
Local residents thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the attention and care.
