Ilham Aliyev received the Serbian Presidential Adviser on Economic Affairs and the Minister of Economy and Regional Development

President Ilham Aliyev has received the Serbian Presidential Adviser on Economic Affairs, Biserka Jevtimijević Drinjaković, and the Serbian Minister of Economy and Regional Development, Nebojsa Ciric.
Biserka Jevtimijević Drinjaković passed on greetings on behalf of Serbian President Boris Tadic. She said the President of Serbia appreciated President Ilham Aliyev’s constructive policies in Eastern Europe and the Balkan region. Indicating that the visits of the Serbian President to Baku and of the President of Azerbaijan to Serbia were useful for a further expansion of relations, the guest pointed to the importance of reciprocal visits for the strengthening of cooperation.
Recalling with satisfaction his meetings with Serbian President Boris Tadic, the Azerbaijani leader said such meetings play an important part in the development of bilateral relations between our countries. President Aliyev stressed that the relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia have risen to the level of partnership. The President noted that there were good opportunities for the expansion of ties in the economic sphere.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed gratitude for the greetings from President Boris Tadic and asked to convey his greetings to the head of the Serbian state.
