President Ilham Aliyev has received Prime Minister of Moldova Vladimir Filat.
The head of state recalled with satisfaction his meetings with Prime Minister Vladimir Filat in Warsaw. Noting that the history of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Moldova has been positive, President Aliyev stressed the importance of giving an impetus to the development of relations at the new stage. Pointing to the successful development of political relations between the two countries, the President said there was a good potential for expanding economic cooperation. President Aliyev expressed hope that the visit of Prime Minister Vladimir Filat to Azerbaijan would contribute to a further enhancement of bilateral relations.
Noting that the relations between Azerbaijan and Moldova have always been friendly, Prime Minister Filat expressed confidence that bilateral relations would continue to flourish.
The Prime Minister expressed hope that his visit to Azerbaijan was a good opportunity to discuss issues related to the further development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Moldova.
