Ilham Aliyev received Egypt’s Petroleum Minister

President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by Egypt’s Petroleum Minister Sameh Fahmy.
The President noted the successful development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt. Recalling the fruitful discussions held during the recent visit of Egypt’s Foreign Minister to Azerbaijan, President Ilham Aliyev stressed the necessity of developing cooperation between the friendly states of Azerbaijan and Egypt in all fields. Having noted that the visit of Egypt’s Petroleum Minister Sameh Fahmy gave a good opportunity to develop relations in the field of energy, President Ilham Aliyev also expressed hope that joint activities would be discussed during the upcoming meetings of the guest in Baku.
Egypt’s Petroleum Minister Sameh Fahmy said he was impressed by what he had seen so far, despite the fact that his visit had just started. Egypt’s Petroleum Minister said there were interesting plans to expand relations between the two countries and expressed confidence in realization of these initiatives.
