President Ilham Aliyev has received the co-chairman of the Azerbaijan-Japan intergovernmental commission and the executive vice-president of Itochu Corporation, Yoichi Kobayashi.
Recalling his previous visit to Azerbaijan, Yoichi Kobayashi said he was witnessing great changes in Baku. The sides expressed their satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Japan and exchanged views on ways of expanding their ties in various spheres.
The sides praised the successful activity of the Azerbaijan-Japan intergovernmental commission, stressed the importance of Japanese companies participating in Azerbaijan’s energy and infrastructure projects and pointed to the great potential for developing cooperation in the non-oil sector.Â
