President Ilham Aliyev has received the Chairman of the Euronews Supervisory Board, Pier Luigi Malesani, and Managing Director of Euronews Michael Peters.

The Chairman of the Euronews Supervisory Board, Pier Luigi Malesani, congratulated the President on Azerbaijan’s election to the UN Security Council and on the country’s victory in the Eurovision Song Contest. Recalling his previous visit to Azerbaijan, he said a lot had been done to expand cooperation since then.

Describing this period as one of active cooperation between Azerbaijan and Euronews, President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence that this cooperation would continue to expand.
