President Ilham Aliyev has received the Chief Executive Officer of Norwegian Statoil, Helge Lund.

The Chief Executive Officer of Norwegian Statoil, Helge Lund, congratulated President Ilham Aliyev on Azerbaijan’s election to the UN Security Council and recalled with satisfaction his meeting with the Azerbaijani President in Davos. Helge Lund also thanked the President for the conditions created in Azerbaijan for the activities of Statoil.

The President gave a high assessment to the activities of Statoil in Azerbaijan.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on Statoil’s participation in joint projects in Azerbaijan and prospects for cooperation.
