President Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by the European Union Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Philippe Lefort.

The European Union Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Philippe Lefort, congratulated the President of Azerbaijan on the country’s election as a member of the UN Security Council.

The sides exchanged views on various areas of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Union and issues relating to the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.
