Ilham Aliyev received State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus

President Ilham Aliyev has received the State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus, Leonid Maltsev.
State Secretary Leonid Maltsev communicated greetings on behalf of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. He said he was joining the message of congratulation from the Belarusian President on the occasion of Azerbaijan being elected a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.
The Azerbaijani President described Azerbaijan’s election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council as an important historic event in the life of our country.
The sides exchanged views on cooperation between Azerbaijan and Belarus.
President Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the greetings from Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and asked the State Secretary to communicate his greetings to the Belarusian President.
