The first meeting of the Council on Turkey-Azerbaijan high-level strategic cooperation has been held in Izmir with the participation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The meeting discussed issues relating to the development of various spheres of Azerbaijani-Turkish bilateral relations.
