President Ilham Aliyev has examined the construction of the five-star Rixos hotel in the Aski-Igrig village of Guba District.
The head of state reviewed the hotel construction project. It was indicated that the area of the facility is 65 hectares. According to the master plan, an 8-storey hotel building with a basement, 16 cottages, an artificial lake covering 30,000 square meters, a helicopter platform and other ancillary facilities will be built. The hotel complex is intended for 200 people, will have restaurants, a swimming pool, a playground and support facilities. Currently, a frame of reinforced concrete structures is being set up at the main hotel building. In addition, excavation work is under way on the premises.
President Ilham Aliyev watched a video showing progress of construction.
The President also reviewed samples of the materials used in construction and toured one of the already constructed cottages. The two-storey cottage has all the necessary equipment and household items. In addition to a lounge and bedrooms, there is a small gym.
President Ilham Aliyev gave instructions and recommendations regarding construction of the hotel.
