As part of a visit to Khachmaz District, President Ilham Aliyev has examined the magnificent park of Heydar Aliyev in Khachmaz.

The spring complex named after Ilham Aliyev has a 15-meter spring, three artificial waterfalls and 48 fountains. The complex has a lighting system meeting modern standards.
It was indicated that the Heydar Aliyev spring complex was commissioned in May 2011. It has a 21-meter spring, three artificial waterfalls and 80 fountains. There are mosaic portraits of great leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev at the complex. There is an alley and a samovar complex 12 meters high on the 5-hectare area along the Baku Avenue located between these complexes.
It was noted that the samovar complex has a fountain and all conditions for people’s recreation. Considering the heavy traffic along the Baku Avenue and in order to ensure free and safe movement of people, two 24-meter overland pedestrian bridges decorated with special mosaic have been built.
The head of state was informed that decorative compositions in the form of the buta have been generously used in the park. This lends further beauty to the park where elements of national architecture are extensively applied. The conditions created here suggest that, along with the capital, all our districts are developing rapidly as well. The differences in the level of development between districts and the capital have already been eliminated. The appearance of our districts has changed substantially. Today, Azerbaijani districts have become modern and attractive. The improving living standards and the opening production sites have turned our districts into an important part of the overall development process.
After reviewing the magnificent park, President Ilham Aliyev gave a high assessment to the work done and gave instructions and recommendations.
