President Ilham Aliyev has received Bulgarian Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Traycho Traykov.

Bulgarian Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Traycho Traykov passed on greetings behalf of Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov on to the President of Azerbaijan. The sides pointed to the good potential for the expansion of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria, including the energy and tourism sectors, and said high-level reciprocal visits were contributing a lot to the strengthening of bilateral relations. It was also indicated that the visit by Bulgarian Minister of Economy, Energy and Tourism Traycho Traykov to Azerbaijan was important from the standpoint of identifying prospects for future economic cooperation.

The head of state thanked the minister for the greetings from Bulgarian President Georgi Parvanov and asked him to communicate his greetings to the President of Bulgaria.
