Following the official welcoming ceremony, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Filip Vujanović of Montenegro met in private.

Existence of good potential for development of bilateral ties in a variety of fields was stressed at the meeting.

The importance of the official visit of Montenegrin President Filip Vujanović to Azerbaijan for further developing the bilateral relations was noted during the meeting. The parties expressed assurance in continuation of successful development of Azerbaijan-Montenegro relations.

The Presidents also exchanged views on international and regional issues.
