Ilham Aliyev received Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic

President Ilham Aliyev has received Foreign Minister of the Republic of Serbia Vuk Jeremic.
The head of state stressed that political relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia were at a high level. Recalling his visit to the Republic of Serbia, President Ilham Aliyev said it had opened up an important stage in the development of bilateral relations. Pointing to the importance of mutual visits, the President said there were good opportunities for a further development of bilateral relations.
Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic passed on greetings from Serbian President Boris Tadic. Describing Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Serbia as historic, he said it had opened up a new page in the development of relations between the two countries and peoples. Pointing to strong political relations between our countries, the minister said he was visiting Azerbaijan on the instruction of the Serbian President and would hold discussions with relevant Azerbaijani bodies regarding the development of relations in other spheres too.
The head of state thanked the Serbian minister for the greetings on behalf of Serbian President Boris Tadic and asked him to communicate his greetings to the President of Serbia.
