Ilham Aliyev received delegation led by foreign minister of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has received a delegation led by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Ri Yong-ho.
The head of state hailed the Democratic People's Republic of Korea`s high-level participation in the Ministerial Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement. President Ilham Aliyev said FM Ri Yong-ho`s visit created a good opportunity for discussing issues relating to bilateral ties between Azerbaijan and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Saying Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the Ministerial Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement, the head of state noted that the country will assume presidency of the organization next year. The President said Azerbaijan will spare no efforts to strengthen solidarity within the organization.
Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho thanked the head of state for meeting with the delegation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. He congratulated Azerbaijan on hosting the next summit of the Non-Aligned Movement and its future presidency of the organization. Ri Yong-ho said Azerbaijan`s election as president of the organization testifies to member states` confidence in Azerbaijan and the country`s high influence on the international arena.
